I’ve been to Caplansky’s twice, the first time using a group buy deal and went a second time because I enjoyed it so much the first time and wanted to try other items on the menu. The first time I was there I had the smoke meat sandwich combo. I got The Caplansky Salad as a side. I wanted something green but I didn’t want the typical salad. The Caplansky Salad offered me just that. I enjoyed it as a side salad but I would probably add smoked turkey or salmon to it id I had it as a full salad.

The second time I went, I was there for brunch and ordered from the ‘All day breakfast’ part of the menu. I had the Omelet du Caplansky. I love omelets and I’m trying to find the city’s best omelet (Midi Bistro ranks #1 for me at the moment). My partner had The Leaning Tower of Caplansky and let me tell you, it was stacked! I can’t remember too much about my second experience there but the food was delicious as usual. I really recommend going back to try their all-day breakfast items.

Sounds like you had a great time Shirley. Caplansky’s for breakfast eh? I have got to keep that in mind. I still miss Hoof’s Cafe. One of the best spot in Toronto.. have you been?

Unfortunately I’ve never been. I was very disappointed it closed before I had the opportunity to try the place out.

I’m looking forward to more food reviews! Keep up the great work!
