Kampai Toronto 2013 is the largest sake festival in Canada. On May 30th, from 6:30PM – 9:00PM over at the Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery District, Kampai (Japanese for cheers) will return to make it’s second appearance. So what do you do for year 2? You somehow find a way to make it even bigger and better… right? Well, that’s exactly what the Sake Institute of Ontario has done. As organizers of Kampai, they have added even more food vendors and sake breweries to the mix. They’ve increased the total tickets available and even got the world’s leading non-Japanese sake expert in John Gauntner for this year’s festival.
